How we get your medical records — fast
InstaChart connects directly to the national network of healthcare systems, giving you secure access to your medical records in minutes — not weeks.
A nationwide network
We integrate with more than 200,000 hospitals, clinics and healthcare facilities across the United States.
Ten years of history
That reach lets us retrieve records from nearly any provider you have visited within the past 10 years.
Organized, not dumped
Using industry-standard AI and trusted connections to major EHR systems, we securely retrieve and organize your records in one place.
What happens after you authorize
Four steps, most of them measured in minutes.
1. You consent
You give explicit, documented consent for InstaChart to request records on your behalf. It is logged, and you can withdraw it at any time.
2. We query the network
We send requests across the TEFCA exchange to the providers that hold your chart, rather than you calling each one.
3. Records come back
Visits, labs, imaging reports, medications and notes land in one dashboard, in chronological order.
4. We make it readable
Clinical language is summarized in plain English so you can see what actually happened and what to ask next.
Built around your consent
InstaChart is a request-only IAS provider. That means we can retrieve your health information through the TEFCA exchange for you — and we cannot use InstaChart to share your health information out to other TEFCA participants.
All individually identifiable information is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing. If you ask us to delete it, verified requests are completed within 45 days.
Encrypted end to end
In transit and at rest, without exception.
Revoke any time
One page, one email, or one phone call.
Auditable consent log
Every consent and revocation is recorded and verifiable.
Deleted on request
Verified deletion requests completed within 45 days.
